Male prostatitis: symptoms and treatment at home

Pain in men with prostatitis

Prostatitis is male prostatitis (prostatitis). According to statistics, this is the most common urological disease in the 25 to 50 age group. The main causes of diseases can be divided into two categories: infectious and non-infectious. In most reported cases, the cause of prostatitis is particularly non-infectious.

The development of the disease involves many factors: smoking, hypothermia, frequent alcohol consumption, sedentary lifestyle, reproductive tract infections, and eventually spread to the prostate. It may also have a negative impact on the health of the prostate and tight underwear, allergic reactions, trauma, severe stress, constipation and prolonged urine retention.

The driving force of the disease is usually low sexual activity or long-term abstinence. Due to all these factors, hormonal changes occur, the blood circulation of the pelvic organs is disturbed, and lymph node retention occurs. In turn, this lowers the immune system and makes the prostate very vulnerable to infections and viruses.

Prostatitis can be divided into 3 forms: infectious, acute and chronic.

The cause of the form of infection may be various bacteria, viruses, fungi and trichomoniasis. Usually, a sexually transmitted infection enters the prostate, leading to infectious prostatitis. The most common are infections, such as chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhea or trichomoniasis. The infection enters the prostate from the urethra and bladder through the lymph or blood vessels in the pelvis. This infection can impair the blood supply to the prostate, causing congestion or (in rare cases) blood poisoning. But this does not always lead to the development of inflammation-this requires the aforementioned factors, otherwise, the disease may not manifest itself.

The acute form of prostatitis is the main cause of unpleasant and painful sensations when going to the toilet. Usually, patients also have fever (up to 40 degrees), chills, discomfort, and pain in the perineum. In the acute form, edema of the prostate occurs due to which normal urination is interrupted. When symptoms first appear, you should immediately meet with a urologist, because any delay in treatment may cause the disease to become chronic. At the same time, for acute prostatitis, although complex treatments are required, the chance of a complete recovery is almost always high. It usually includes antiviral drugs, ultrasound, physical therapy, reflexology and prostate massage.

If no treatment is given, the chronic form of prostatitis will develop 3-6 months after the onset of the acute form. In this form, the disease can be invisible for a long time, but in some cases, it may aggravate the condition. The danger of prostatitis is that it may be accompanied by other unpleasant diseases: vesicle inflammation, fibrosis, inflammation of the appendages, and then erectile dysfunction (potential), which leads to infertility.

Treat prostatitis with folk remedies

Acute or comorbid prostatitis can only be treated in the hospital under the supervision of a doctor. They perform comprehensive diagnostics, PCR, urinalysis, blood and urine tests, and detect the presence of viruses or dangerous bacteria. Only then will antibiotics, immunostimulants, lasers and physical therapy be prescribed for certain reasons. Surgery may also be required in severe cases.

Treatment of prostatitis at home is only effective if there are no complications or recurrence of chronic diseases. Generally, folk remedies for prostatitis aim to relieve pain, improve immunity and help eliminate pelvic edema.

Squat Prostatitis

When the cause of prostatitis is inflammation (rather than bacterial infection), the disease may be caused by insufficient blood supply to the pelvis, which affects the prostate and surrounding muscles. There is no better way to restore blood circulation than a normal squat. First perform a self-test: straighten your arms, raise the top of your head, and squat as much as you can.

These should be squats, "until the end, " so that the pelvis does not linger at the knees and the torso does not lean forward, creating the illusion of exercising. If you can do this exercise 80-100 times, then you have a great chance of recovery. If you cause pain in your legs and pelvis quickly, it must be a sign of weakness in the leg muscles and blood circulation problems in the prostate and other pelvic organs.

You may not do this exercise every day, but limit yourself to 3 times a week. If you can't sit down 80 times, try to divide the execution into several methods: 4 times 20 times, 2 times 40 or 50 times. In order to obtain maximum efficiency, the interruption time cannot be too long-3-5 minutes.

You can also try other exercises to supplement squats:

  • Raise your legs when you lie on your back (approximately 20 times per method), but you should not perform this exercise 100 times to avoid overwork.
  • Make "scissors": Sit on the floor, look for support behind your hands, lift your legs into the air and cross them, alternating left and right at the top. Also, through this exercise, don't overwork.

Squat together, these exercises should be performed a total of 100-150 times-then treatment of prostatitis at home will be the most effective and may not require medication.

Other exercises for prostatitis

  1. Lie on your back, bend your legs and place them on your body-your knees should reach your face. Place your arms on your legs and lie down for 3 to 20 minutes. This exercise will also be very effective in treating prostatitis, but you should be very patient. And the longer you lie in this position, the better. But don't overdo it! It is not recommended to exceed 20 minutes at a time.
  2. Perineal massage is also one of the most effective exercises against prostatitis. Do it immediately after going to bed in the morning to relieve prostate congestion.
  3. Before eating in the morning, there is another effective exercise. Stand up, stand up, bring your legs together, and perform one-third of the regular squat. Freeze in this position and start moving your knees forward one by one: to the left and then to the right. Do this exercise for 5 minutes. You can repeat the same thing at night. This is a rather complicated method and may not be easy, but if you do it regularly, you will get used to it. Not only can you cure prostatitis, you can also prevent it on a regular basis.

Pumpkin seeds for prostatitis

Pumpkin seeds have always been popular in the treatment of prostatitis. This is a very powerful method and at the same time affordable and inexpensive folk remedies. They contain a lot of zinc, which is necessary for people of any age-its daily share is contained in only 30 seeds. Eat only dry seeds before meals every day, and you will soon notice an improvement.

Another method is to peel a pound of seeds and pass them through a meat grinder. The most important thing is not to deep-fry them, otherwise you will not get the desired results. Add 200-250 grams of honey to it and stir. From the quality produced, small balls no smaller than hazelnuts are made. Store these balls in the refrigerator and arrange a few before use.

Half an hour before meals, eat once, twice a day. But don't swallow it quickly, but chew it slowly for a few minutes. Usually, this treatment is very effective, and a course of treatment per year is enough to avoid recurrence.

Hazel treatment of prostatitis

To prepare this product, you need bark or leaves-both are equally effective. You can even use them at once, but it is not recommended to mix them. It is also important to remember that the bark brewing time is twice as long.

Boil 1 tablespoon of product in 1 cup of boiling water, close the lid, and cook for half an hour. Then filter and drink a quarter cup four times a day. For brewing, you can use fresh and brewed 1-2 times at the same time, although fresh is of course more effective. This remedy usually relieves the symptoms of prostatitis within a week.

Prostatitis caused by poplar skin

Poplar bark is as effective as hazel bark and leaves in preventing prostatitis. For this reason, the bark of the poplar bark must be collected before the sap flow begins and before the buds and leaves begin to bloom. This usually happens in mid-April. The thickness of the bark may be any thickness, but is preferably 3 mm.

The bark should be dried a little in a cool place or in an oven, and then take 100 grams, grind and pour it into a 0. 5 liter jar. Pour the bark into 200 grams of vodka, but cover the vodka completely. Then cap the jar tightly and brew in a dark place for 2 weeks. Then filter the agent with cheesecloth or a sieve.

Three times a day before meals, add 20 drops of water for every quarter cup. Generally, the obtained poplar tin is sufficient to maintain about 2 months.

Wormwood for prostatitis

Wormwood can almost effectively kill purulent infections, so it is an excellent treatment for almost all reproductive tract inflammations. Only 100 grams of dried wormwood herbs can be used to prepare a complete medicine. It must be chopped and sieved through a kitchen colander. Herbs that have passed it are suitable to be taken in a dry form-dried wormwood, due to its strong bitter taste, has a cleansing effect on the body and can kill various infectious agents and parasites.

How is wormwood treated? The algorithm is simple:

  • First, you need to swallow a handful of dried chopped grass within the first three days and rinse it off with water. This operation must be performed every 2-3 hours (including night). It doesn't matter before or after eating. It is very important that you cannot rest during the first three days, even at night. This is a rather difficult process, including the difficulty of swallowing bitter herbs, but such a process can not only help you fight prostatitis, but also help you treat other infections.
  • In the second stage, you need to drink wormwood 5 to 6 times a day for 4 consecutive days, and rest only at night.

During the whole process, you must strictly control your diet. Otherwise, the treatment intensity may be greatly reduced.

  • It is recommended to exclude bread or reduce it to 200 grams, but not fresh, but to "lie down" slightly.
  • Eliminate meat, fish, sausages, eggs, candy, cheese and other dairy products from the diet;
  • Make sure to exclude alcohol and tobacco;
  • But at the same time, you are free to use all kinds of grains, nuts, fruits and sunflower oil.

During this process, you may feel some underlying diseases, joint pain and general weakness aggravate.

Parsley for prostatitis

Parsley is a very healthy plant with many medicinal properties. In particular, these include the ability to prevent inflammation and normalize the function of the reproductive organs. In the cooking process, we use coriander because of its strong flavor, but in fact, it is a powerful herb and contains many beneficial trace elements and vitamins.

For example, 100 grams of parsley per day contains the daily requirement of vitamin A, which makes parsley very beneficial for eyesight. At the same time, the content of vitamin C is several times that of lemon. In addition, coriander also contains inulin (natural insulin), which can effectively regulate blood sugar levels and is beneficial to the intestines.

To fight prostatitis, you need to drink 3 tablespoons of parsley juice 3 times a day half an hour before meals. You can also use chopped coriander seeds: pour a cup of boiling water on them and cook for 15 minutes. Give Tonga soup 5-6 times a day.

Treat prostatitis with herbs

The herbal medicine for prostatitis is a very old and proven treatment. For centuries, the formula used in folk medicine has hardly changed. Below we list the most effective of these recipes:

  • Squeeze the celandine juice from the freshly picked stems and mix it with alcohol at a ratio of 1: 1. The infusion is given in the morning before breakfast. The first time-one drop for every 50 grams of water droplets, and then gradually increase the dose so that there are already 30 drops by the end of the month.
  • Another way to treat parsley: add bilberry, hawthorn and valerian root to it. The plants should be chopped and mixed, and then filled with a glass of boiling water. Then, you need to filter the solution with cheesecloth, and then half a cup twice a day. This infusion will be very effective for the infectious form of prostatitis.
  • To treat prostatitis with cloves, grind the dried plants and pour a glass of boiling water on them. Then, follow the previous recipe: strain the tincture through cheesecloth and use half a cup.
  • Radiola pink is very effective for chronic prostatitis. You should pour a cup of boiling water on a tablespoon of ground plant roots and let it brew for an hour. Then filter half a cup of tincture twice a day (usually before breakfast and dinner).

It is worth mentioning that herbal treatment usually takes longer than other methods (including drug treatment). Usually, the course takes one to six months. However, the advantage of herbal treatment of prostatitis is usually that it not only effectively fights the symptoms, but also prevents the cause of the disease, which is usually invisible. In addition, unless you have an allergic reaction, herbs rarely cause side effects, and therapies based on different herbs can be combined without any problems.

It is also important to remember that when using alcoholic tinctures, it is recommended not to consume them on an empty stomach, especially if there are gastrointestinal problems.
